These earrings, created in 14kt yellow gold, feature expertly matched Oregon Sunstones, weighing 3.65 carats along with accenting diamonds. A type of feldspar, sunstone is a gem born from molten lava. Oregon Sunstone contains small amounts of copper which creates a display of fiery reddish glitter. In its most prized forms, sunstone shows flashes of deep green in addition to reds and peaches. This pair or earrings features a beautiful tiger-stripe of multiple colors to show the spectrum of this gem’s beauty. Sunstone is thought to dispel fear and stress. It is also said to increase independence, courage, promote a sunny outlook and provide clarity.
