What is Sami Fine Jewelry’s Refund and Exchange Policy?

If you are not happy with your purchase, we want to make it right. New purchases in original condition may be returned for refund, exchange, or store credit within 15 days of purchase with the original receipt and packaging. All refunds will be given in the same manner as originally purchased. Cash payments will be refunded by check to the original purchaser. If you choose to exchange your item for store credit, the credit must be used within 1 year of original purchase.

Items must be in original condition. No items that have been sized, engraved upon, or modified in any way may be returned or exchanged.  

This return policy does not apply to custom designed jewelry, layaways, sale items, discounted or “As Is Items.” These items are final sale.

If you are shipping a return, you must contact Sami Fine Jewelry before shipping your return to receive authorization. Upon receiving your return, the item will be reviewed to ensure that it is in its original condition. Please note that any items showing signs of wear, or those that have been altered or damaged in any way cannot be accepted for a return.

What is Sami Fine Jewelry’s Layaway Policy?

Articles put on layaway will be held for a period of 180 days from the date on the receipt. If payments are not made in a timely manner, and no satisfactory arrangements have been otherwise agreed to, the articles will be returned to stock. The original deposit and subsequent payments received will applied to a store credit, minus a $100.00 restocking fee for each item. Store credits must be used within one year of issue.

What is Sami Fine Jewelry’s Policy on Custom Design Jewelry?

There is a $100.00 non-refundable design fee. If the customer decides not to have the piece made the customer forfeits the fee. The design fee is only usable for 6 months from date of initial payment.

Does Sami Fine Jewelry Offer Any Guarantees?

Sami Fine Jewelry guarantees everything we make, repair (in the area we work) or sell for 1 year from the date of delivery/purchase. We can only guarantee items that we actually repair, not the ones we visually inspect. We do not assume responsibility of the loss of single diamond or gemstone above .50 carats. (Please see our extended guarantee and policies brochure for specific guarantees for settings on Emerald, Oval, Marquise, Pear, Heart, and Trillion-shaped stones.)

What is Sami Fine Jewelry’s Policy on Gemstone Damage?

We are not responsible for damage attributable to any unstable enhancement process, or for pressure or heat-sensitive stones or stones with fractures, as this is an inherent risk in handling and selling them. (You can request a copy of Sami Fine Jewelry full guarantee and jewelry cleaning instructions either in the store or email stephenie@samifinejewelry.com.)

What is Sami Fine Jewelry’s Policy on Jewelry Left at Sami’s for Extended Periods by Customer After Work Has Been Completed?

Sami Fine Jewelry IS NOT responsible for any repair or service job left at Sami Fine Jewelry longer than 30 days. It is the CUSTOMER’S responsibility to pay in full and pick up their jewelry, watches, etc. within 30 days of completion.
