Citrine’s yellow colors are produced by having traces of iron in quartz crystals.

Citrine is fairly easy to care for. Fill a bowl with warm water and soap. Use a soft toothbrush to scrub it and then rinse. Steam cleaning is not recommended with the Citrine gem.
