Stephenie Bjorkman, owner of Sami Fine Jewelry has made it her life’s mission to collect American gem rough, and loose stones. Known for her creative mind, she then designs custom jewelry that showcase only rare gemstones that are “born” in the USA. Each American Gem Collection piece is numbered, named, and has an individual story about the gemstones locality and history.

8:30am: “RISE & SHINE” Take a jaunt around the Fountain Overlook Trail. This is an easy to moderate hike that is accessible from downtown Fountain Hills. The hike is only 1.5 miles, and has a walking/jogging path. While enjoying Arizona’s sunny weather you can take in 360’ degree views of the Four Peaks Mountain Range, Redrock, and the legendary World’s 2nd largest fountain. *free, family & pet friendly

9:30am: “SNAP, CRACKLE, POP” Now that you have worked up an appetite, continue your walk right into Fountain View Plaza. Plaza Fountain Side is a unique waterfront experience. You will find a great selection of restaurants, unique boutiques and fine art galleries. We recommend grabbing a coffee at Mountain View Coffee. This European inspired Café offers a delicious array of coffee drinks, aromatic teas and refreshing smoothies. After coffee you should grab a bite of breakfast on the Patio at Euro Pizza. All their food is made from scratch and delicious!
10:30am: “GET STONED” It’s time to see American gemstones and jewelry at Sami’s! Located about 3 minutes from Fountain View Plaza/Fountain Overlook Trail, Sami Fine Jewelry is the feature business of Downtown Fountain Hills. One of Sami’s amazing tour guides can’t wait to show you the store! 5:00pm “SKELETONS IN THE CLOSET” Now that you have had a busy day of Fountain Hills fun, it is time to have a beer or two at the Bone Haus. This is Fountain Hills first craft brewery. With a unique atmosphere, the founders wanted to capture the dimly lit chambers and skeleton displays that are part of Europe’s History. Want a beer? The bartender will pull on a tibia-shaped tap handle to fill your glass with a home brewed taste like you have never experienced.
7:00pm “TAKE IN THE VIEW” Escape to Fountain Hill’s very own boutique luxury resort, Copperwynd.
