What is Sami Fine Jewelry’s Refund and Exchange Policy?
If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, we want to make it right! New purchases in original condition may be returned for refund, exchange, or store credit within 15 days of purchase (you must have the original receipt and packaging). All refunds will be given in the same manner as originally purchased. Cash or credit card payments will be refunded to the original purchaser. If you choose to exchange your item for store credit, the credit must be used within 1 year of original purchase (or you will lose your credit).  Store credit can never be exchanged for cash. 

This return policy does not apply to custom designed jewelry, layaways, estate/consignment jewelry,  sale items, discounted or as is items. These items are a final sale.

If you are shipping a return, you must contact Sami Fine Jewelry to receive authorization. You will be responsible for shipping. Upon receiving your return, the item will be reviewed to ensure that it is in its original condition. Please note that any items showing signs of wear, or those that have been altered or damaged in any way cannot be accepted for a return. Sami Fine Jewelry has the right to deny any return at any time for any reason. 

 
What is Sami Fine Jewelry’s Layaway Policy?
Articles placed on layaway will be held for a period of 90 days from the date of the latest payment on receipt.  After 90 days your piece is subject to 10% interest.  We also require that payments are made at least once a month.  If you are unable to pay your layaway on time and no satisfactory arrangements have been otherwise agreed to, the item(s) will be returned to stock and all payments will be forfeited. 

What is Sami Fine Jewelry’s Policy on Custom Design Jewelry?
We require a $500 design fee for custom designs we sketch or get a CAD rendering for. This fee accounts for the time of the designer to sit with you and get the groundwork started on your custom piece of jewelry. This fee is 100% creditable towards the cost of the final custom piece. If you decide to cancel the custom, you may forfeit your deposit. It can still be used in-store as credit towards another purchase or repair for up to 6 months. 

All custom designs are final sale. We go through multiple steps to ensure your design is made to your specifications, which may include sketch reviews, CAD imaging reviews, and wax model reviews, so you can see your piece of jewelry at each preliminary state to get the details right. Custom designs generally take 4-6 weeks to complete, as we allow for time to make adjustments and changes as you need. 

Does Sami Fine Jewelry Offer Any Guarantees?
Sami Fine Jewelry offers unlimited FREE jewelry cleaning and 10 point inspections on any item purchased online or in our store. You can either make an appointment to come in for your jewelry checkup, or at your expense ship the piece directly to our store.  As long as you take care of your jewelry purchase and let us examine it every six months, we will honor our one-year guarantee. 

Because of the confidence we have in our jewelry, we stand behind everything we sell, create, or repair with a 1-year guarantee. Sami Fine Jewelry’s warranty includes stone loss, prong/channel repair, rhodium plating (x1 time), soldering, restoration, etc.

Sami Fine Jewelry will not warranty out of the ordinary trauma to your jewelry, loss, or damage of single diamonds/gemstones over 1/2ct in size or any piece that has been serviced or repaired by a jeweler other than us. 

Sami Fine Jewelry will stand behind all pieces sold or made in our store.  We will also honor repair warranty work as long as ALL the repair work that was suggested was done and completed by Sami’s jeweler (within one year of repair).

We have the right to refuse warranty work for any reason.  We can only guarantee items that we actually repair, NOT ones that we visually inspect.


Does Sami Fine Jewelry Offer Any Guarantees on Ring Sizing?
We can only guarantee ring sizing for 30 days from the date of delivery.  Additionally, we can only guarantee ring sizing if a Sami team member sized the customer’s actual finger.  If we size the customer’s actual finger and the size is incorrect, we will resize the customer’s ring at NO charge within 30 days from the date of delivery. 

 
What isn’t Covered Under Your One-Year Guarantees? 
We cannot guarantee glued in pearls, anything epoxied, enameling, lead solders, gold plating, rhodium plating, loss of any prong set stone that has 3 or less prongs, and the loss of any precious stone or diamond over .50 carats. We recommend private insurance for any piece over $1500 in value. We can also not guarantee stones that have been damaged (broken, scratched, chipped) because of excessive daily wear.  Metal and stones other than diamonds are not indestructible and must be worn accordingly. Please reach out if you have questions about recommended care or cleaning of your jewelry.

Lab grown, laser drilled and fracture filled diamonds/gemstones are the responsibility of the customer to disclose to our jewelers. Our jewelers take these stones in for repair and cleaning at the customer’s risk. Lab grown, color, and clarity enhanced gemstones are also worked on at the customer’s risk and must be disclosed to our jewelers before any work is performed, so we can take every measure to maintain the beauty of your stones. 


What is Sami Fine Jewelry’s Policy on Gemstone Damage?
We are not responsible for damage attributable to any unstable enhancement process, or for pressure or heat-sensitive stones, or stones with fractures, as they pose an inherent risk when handling them. Gemstones under 1/2 carat are covered under our 1-year warranty for loss or reasonable damage.

What is Sami Fine Jewelry’s Policy on Jewelry Left at Sami’s for Extended Periods by Customer After Work Has Been Completed?
Sami Fine Jewelry IS NOT responsible for any repair or service job left at Sami Fine Jewelry longer than 120 days. It is the customer's responsibility to pay in full and pick up their jewelry, watches, etc. within 120 days of completion. After one year from the date of drop off, if you have not picked up your item, it is considered abandoned. After one year you will lose ownership of the item(s).
